California Ballet Company Principal Dancers Carlo Di Dio and Bernadette Torres both joined the company full time during the 2010-2011 43rd Season. The couple have since partnered onstage in CBC productions including The Nutcracker (Snow and Grande Pas de Deux), Le Corsaire Pas de Deux, and Wayne Davis' Souvenir.

Mr. Di Dio and Ms. Torres have also appeared together internationally in such performances as the Labat Loano Danza Festival Gala in Italy.

In the spirit of Valentine's Day, the couple are featured in this month's Spotlight on the Dancer. Ms. Torres and Mr. Di Dio's chemistry onstage is dynamic, fluid, and anchored to real-life where they are involved in a long-term relationship. Their unparalleled profesionalism in the dance studio and onstage is complemented by their understanding of each other's needs as dancers, their respect for each other as artists, and their feelings for each other as a couple.
