2014 San Diego Fringe Festival – California Ballet Company

The height of San Diego dance . . .

California Ballet Company will participate in the 2014 San Diego International Fringe Festival. The company presents Ballet360 - Skyline View in the stunning Shiley Special Events Suite, atop the San Diego Central Library.  This showcase includes works by CBC choreographers and dancers, guest choreographers, and performing artists from the greater community.

San Diego International Fringe Festival is a project of Contact Arts, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2003 along with Actors Alliance of San Diego with the purpose building a network of creativity & communication.  Contact Arts & AASD aim to connect ideas with social action through progressive performance & community engaged projects.


This performance is free to the public.

No tickets or RSVP required. It is strongly recommended that you arrive early as seating is limited.

Donations are always welcomed and will be distributed between the artists, the Friends of the Library Fund, and the Library Foundation.

Parking is available in the underground lot for $5. Street parking is also available as well as numerous pay lots in the downtown area.

Ballet 360- Skyline View’s one hour program will present two world premieres and an incredible array of dance, from ballet to burlesque. The program will include an excerpt from Charles Bennett’s Dracula, exciting new contemporary works from CBC dancers Hugo Carreon and Jeremy Zapanta, as well as a world premiere from CBC dancer Kyndall Foote. CBC choreographer Gail Wingfield will present her gorgeous Gershwin inspired Three Preludes.

Choreographers from the community include Stephanie Harvey with her acclaimed solo The Path, Evan Knapp presenting The Scientist, and a world premiere by Khamla Somphanh. Cori Miller founder of San Diego burlesque company Pixie Stixx, will also present the burlesque number Young & Beautiful featuring CBC ballerinas.
